Givenchy has recently opened their newest flagship store in Avenue Montaigne, after 54 years since the brand has opened its first boutique in George V. The 4,000 square foot store, boasts two floors of womenswear and Givenchy’s first shoe salon. The store was designed by French Architect Joseph Durand and Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci paying homage to the “Box” Retail concept, the black packaging that was initially used by the brand’s founder, Hubert de Givenchy.
In commemoration of the opening a limited edition ostrich House de Givenchy bag was created. Made of Beige Ostrich, Black Lizard and White Python it also includes a metal plate engraved with the store’s address - Givenchy, 36 avenue Montaigne, Edition Limitée. Prices starts at €4,200.00 (about $5,600.00 USD).
