For the third time, Hermes has taken the Festival des Metiers to Hamburg, Germany. The Festival des Métiers shows how their products are made by their craftsmen from their workshops in France. Held at the museum in Holstenwall, guests will be able to see how the iconic Hermes bags, saddles, gloves, carre and other luxurious items are being manufactured. The festival also allows guests to see how to silkscreen print the famous carre scarf. The venue was designed by Italian designer Paola Navone. Other cities that hosted the Festival des Metiers includes San Francisco, Toronto, London and Milan. The event opened last May 13 and will finish on May 18, 2014. Admission is free.
