Chanel recently opened its fourth largest store in the US, after New York, Waikiki and Beverly Hills. The 10,000 square foot, two-story store in the US is situated on 6 Newbury Street in Boston. It has replaced a 2,000 square foot area in the Taj Hotel. The brand has been trying for years now to expand their store in the said hotel. Peter Marino and Richard Bertman has designed the space in signature Chanel style. The first floor features handbags, scarves, accessories, jewelry and cosmetics. While the second floor, has the shoe and RTW department. The 700 square feet shoe area displays about 120 different styles of shoes.
