Introducing the Chanel Fall/Winter 2014 runway bag collection. This season Karl Lagerfeld took his homage to art and seemed to be channelling Andy Warhol Canned Soup with his take on Supermarket Chic. The Grand Palais in Paris was re-decorated in the interior to resemble that of a very high-end supermarket, where models walked with shopping bags and carts. The bags themselves were an extension of this theme and exemplified Karl Lagerfeld's humorous take on his extremely coveted designs.
Some bags included 100% Agneau (ie. Lambskin) and other's included graffiti that indicated 100% Chanel. He deconstructed the classic flap which now appeared with a drawstring sac and also backpack straps. Although the collection was for Fall, the colors were still bright with neon colors on the ready-to-wear tweed suits and in the accessories.
