Introducing the Chanel 2020 Runway Bag Collection. This is the debut collection for Lagerfeld's successor, Virginie Viard. The new Creative Director transformed the Grand Palais into a train station named "Destination Chanel" with a Belle Epoque café, following the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld in creating glamorous backdrops. The collection features colorful handbags made of fabrics, tweeds, denim and leather. Large vintage style bowling bags appeared in the runway, with some having a mini flap bag attached to the handle. New flap bags comes in 3D quilting pattern and washed denim design. Fresh new belt bags were seen in bold and pastel colors, worn across the body. To keep up with the theme, traffic light and travel bottle minaudière were included in the collection.
