Introducing the Celine Orb Bag. The Orb Bag first appeared on the runway and is part of Celine's Winter 2014 Collection. The Orb Bag features a flap front with a rounded metal button. It is available in tote and clutch bags. The Orb is designed to be worn as a large clutch with the handle resting on your arm and the base of the bag resting on your hip. This design causes some issues since its not exactly the most practical day to day bag. In addition the center button would cause the edges of the flap to eventually "pucker" when held at the top handle. This would be more pronounced in the versions that are non-leather since the fabric would easily change the shape of the bag. Similar to other runway bags such as the metal geometric framed tote bag from Spring / Summer 2014, this bag is likely going to only appear in one season.
The tote bag comes in different materials such as Felt, Smooth Calfskin, Pony Calfskin and Astrakhan Fur. The clutch is available in Felt and Vegetal Calfskin.
