Updated for accuracy (10-28-2019), it turns out that prices are not increasing by 13% but only by 4% for Classics/Re-issue and Boys in 2019.
Chanel in the US will be increasing it's prices effective November 1, 2019. The last price increase occurred around the same time last year in November 2018. Prices are expected to be up between $100-200 for Chanel Classic flap bags, Chanel Boy bags and Chanel Re-issue bags. Thanks to Madison Avenue Spy and the Coco.Christina for the valuable intel! It appears to be restricted too in stores so people don't start hoarding bags before the prices take into effect. The rate increase is only between 2-4%, note prices of WOC and mini flaps are also expected to increase.
Chanel bags in Europe overall increased by 7% and in the UK between 8-9%.
