Introducing the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2018 Runway Bag Collection. Nicolas Ghesquière has taken his latest collection to Japan. The show was held at Miho Museum, a one hour drive from Kyoto. The collection pays homage to Japanese culture, with references to Kabuki, Japanese landscape, Samurai armor, obi belts and manga. The season's accessories features unique designs, wherein the Speedy, Petite Malle and new flap bag in Monogram Canvas and Monogram Reverse, features Kabuki eyes as illustrated by fashion designer Kansaï Yamamoto. A bucket bag inspired by Japanese lantern was also seen in the runway. The brand's iconic Hat Box Bag comes in mini sizes, made available in Louis Vuitton's signature materials such as the Monogram Canvas, Monogram Reverse and Epi leather. New hobo and metallic shoulder bags were also included in the collection.
