Louis Vuitton Petite-Malle Trunk Bag Reference Guide

Introducing the Louis Vuitton Petite Malle bag. Dubbed as the new "It Bag", the Petite Malle was first seen in the Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 Runway show in Paris. The bag was inspired by the Louis Vuitton iconic trunks, the bag's name Petite Malle translates to small trunk in English. It includes a removable canvas cover and strap, wherein the bag can be used as a shoulder bag, cross body or as clutch.
Available in the classic Monogram Canvas, Damier Ebene and Epi Leather. The Epi Leather comes in different colors Rouge, Noir, Rose, Orange, Blanc, Gold and Argent.  The trim will be made in epi leather, crocodile and metal hardware, which will affect the subsequent prices (see below for summary). It comes in gold hardware but will subsequently but will have silver hardware snaps for the Cruise 2015 collection.  The bag opens from the top, making the front locks just part of the design. It comes in three kinds of trims, Epi Electric Leather, Metal and Croc.
The Petite Malle bag will also be available in other more designs for Resort 2015 such as Epi Malletage and Cuir Embosses. Petite Malle will be launched August 15, 2014 in stores; however, pre-orders are already available at Louis Vuitton.
