Mules for Spring 2014 are one of the hottest trends this season. Check out some of the season's latest styles from the top designer brands including Balenciaga, Celine, Fendi and Chloe. Mules can appear without straps, or with more of a slingback feel having an attached ankle closure.
Balenciaga
Balenciaga's version of mules are available in stilettos, wedges and flats. The Balenciaga Glove Curve Sandals is an open toe sling back sandals which are made of smooth lambskin leather. The ankle strap features a Tejus effect printed calfskin. The Balenciaga Glove Curve Sandals retails for $775.00 (USD), the espadrille sandal is priced at $665.00 (USD) while the flat sandal is at $565.00 (USD). The Pads Riding Mule is an open toe mule with leather-covered wedge, it retails for $775.00 (USD).
Chloe
This season's mules from Chloe were fresh from the brand's Spring/Summer 2014 Runway Collection. Chloe's Spring 2014 Mules features cork heels, fringed canvas and buckle detail. The Chloe Colby buckle-detailed mule is priced at $695.00 (USD), while the Clyde in vegetal calfskin and cork heel retails for $1,395.00 (USD).
Celine
Aside from the geometrical shaped handles featured in Celine's Summer 2014 bags, this style has also been spotted in this season's mules. A triangular heel mule is Celine's latest offering which retails for $2,190.00 (USD). Celine has also released classic style mules the past seasons, made of satin and PVC.
Fendi
Fendi's modern approach on mules includes studded heels, ayers and PVC. The slip on mules made of ayers and textured leather is this season's must-have and costs $990.00 (USD). The Iridia Layered Sandal which is made of PVC and patent leather retails for $995.00 (USD). The Polifonia Mule features a studded chunky heels and the signature Pequin detail, it retails for $690.00 (USD).
