Seeing as winter is still upon us on the east coast, its no wonder that Alexander Wang produced a collection complete with pieces that would be wearable in unforgiving sub zero weather. Firstly the boots presented are made of a leather / rubber mix, which would prove to be durable when wearing in deep snow. Two styles are produced one resembling the classic riding boot and another with a padded knee knit.
Finally, Wang featured some exquisite coats for Fall 2014, with the faded and screen printed laser cut prints on numerous jackets. The boxy shoulders are reminiscent of his collection for Balenciaga last spring, where shoulders were padded and rounded. Boot clogs were also presented, there are no backs that appear on these models upon closer inspection.
