Bottega Veneta has created a special edition of their iconic Knot Clutch in honor of KPM’s (Koenigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin) 250th year in the business. KPM or The Royal Porcelain Factory in Berlin was founded by Frederick II of Prussia (Frederick the Great) in 1763. Bottega Veneta's partnership with the company started in 2008.
In celebration of KPM's 250th anniversary, Bottega Veneta released a collection of jewelry with Oro Bruciato chains and porcelain bisque medallion and the "Bronze Brique Brown Porcelain Ayers Verre Irise Zircon Knot" Clutch bag. The jewelry collection and the knot clutch are also part of Bottega Veneta's Fall 2013 Collection.
The special edition Knot clutch is made of intrecciato ayers leather with three porcelain bas-reliefs. The middle porcelain with two cherubs was hand carved and manufactured by KPM. Verre Irise stones surrounds the clutch, and fine strands of zirconium are used for the knot clasp. This Knot Clutch is limited and numbered, it retails for $4,680.00 (USD).
