Mulberry gifted US President Barrack Obama and his fellow attendees at the G8 summit in Northern Ireland with monogrammed leather bags. Downing Street has chosen Mulberry to provide the gifts for the leaders.
Brown Matthew bags from the brand’s Fall 2013 collection are reportedly given to President Obama, French President Francois Hollande, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, UK Prime Minister David Cameron, Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta andCanadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
While the only female who attended the summit, German’s Chancellor Angela Merkel received a black Picadilly travel bag.
